About us
Sabat Company is a Worldwide Trading company.
History
Sabat Company has been actively involved in the Scandinavian-Iraqi Kurdistan recycling business for more than 23 years. The company began importing clothing from Sweden at the end of 1998. In 2002, we also began importing used clothing from Norway.
Beside the recycling business, Sabat has also been active in various other business ventures, for example in the Transport sector. Sabat registered formally in Turkey 2008, opening up opportunities to transport goods from all over the world to the Middle East.
Sabat's subsidiary contractor company (HM) has been active since 2007, and has already successfully carried out a number of different projects, such as the construction of communication towers in Erbil and the creation of an olive garden covering an area of 15 hectares in the province of Sulayamaniyah.
Organization
Sabat is a private company, with the ambition of establishing long-term business with western companies. The main office of the company is located in the capital city of Erbil, but we also have representatives in Europe. The company has an office in Mersin, Turkey, through which the transport of goods to Kurdistan from abroad is arranged. Sabat also registered in Dubai UAE since 2013.
Projects
We are still expanding fast and have various projects planned for the coming new year 2022.
Aid
Our policy is that 2,5% of the company’s net profit is put in a charity fund, which will later be used to provide financial aid to impoverished people, seriously sick children and adults, young needy students, and victims of natural disasters. For example we have supported Haiti, Afghanistan and lately the Wan region in east of Turkey. We have also built schools, and renovated roads in poor villages in Iraq.
